Wild About Leopard

Happy Thursday everyone!! It feels like such a long time ago since I last got to reflect with you all on life and style fashions.  With all of the rainy weather we have been having in Columbia over the past week, I was so thrilled that today we finally had nice enough weather for a photoshoot. I cannot wait to share with you all today’s blog post.  Monkee’s of Columbia is owned and operated by a mother/daughter team which travels to New York to personally selects its merchandise for all age customers.  The mother has an eye for those one-of-a kind pieces while the daughter selects products she thinks will captivate our younger customers.  With this in mind, today we wanted to share with you two different looks from our new Kate Spade shipment.  The mother wore the Leopard Print Swing Dress because we of course love this fun print, but also because it is such a great length.  She accessorized the dress with a navy snake print Kate Spade mid- heel which brought out the navy outline in the leopard dress.  The heel height on her shoe is perfect because it gives you the dressy look of wearing a heel while also keeping your feet in mind allowing you to walk in these all day long.  I chose to show you all a younger look with the same Kate Spade print by wearing this sweater top with black shorts.  I also wore a Kate Spade wedge, which as well is a great height for wearing them all day.  As you can see we both wore pearl jewelry to complete the classic Kate Spade looks we both wanted.  Our final touches to both of our looks were Rebecca Minkoff handbags and Tom Ford sunglasses.  Enjoy the rest of your week and come shop with us at Monkee’s because we would love to help you all find things you are as wild about as we are!!
