Falling for Black and Blue

One thing I am a sucker for is a beautiful romper.  When I’m stumped at what to wear, a romper always does the trick because there is no separate coordination required.  So, once we received this gorgeous BCBG romper, I fell head over heels for it.  This is great to wear now on breezy evenings, but even more importantly, this piece transitions seamlessly into the fall.  Another thing I love about this look is that you can so easily jazz it up by adding heels and accessories.  I paired this look with this to die for black fringe Rebecca Minkoff crossbody and Margaret Elizabeth jewelry in blue tones.  Margaret Elizabeth is a new jewelry line for us, and we are loving it!  The company is based out of San Francisco, CA where Meg Sheckleton, the designer, believes “life is too short to not be doing what you love.”  I could not agree more!  Lastly, I chose a natural snake print Vince Camuto mule to complete the outfit by directing your eye all the way from the printed romper to the textured shoe.  To create other fun and captivating looks like this stay tuned with us at Monkee’s of Columbia.
