I know we just talked about the very first day of spring, but now we are fast forwarding to what you can expect to see this fall. This weekend I was able to visit AmericasMart in Atlanta buying for fall 2015.  We had a wonderful time meeting with our sales reps as they showed us all of the new fall collections. Fall 2015 is going to be filled with so many fun fashion trends that I can hardly wait to share with you all (our favorite followers)! ;)

First and “furmost,” we saw soooo many stunning fur pieces whether it be on a vest, jacket, cape, or any fall piece you can think of, fur is making a statement on just about everything this fall.  Some other fun fabrics you can expect are tweed and leather. Fabrics are also being mixed to give merchandise a versatile and edgy feeling.  Along with fabrics, we saw that a lot of prints are being mixed.  Specifically, a lot of horizontal and vertical stripes are being intermingled together as well as plaid patterns.  We of course saw a lot of fringe too! Fringe on booties, sweaters, dresses, scarves, and you name it!  As far as trendy colors, cream and white is going to be absolutely huge this fall! Oranges, deep blues, purple/raspberry tones, mauve pinks, olive greens, and marsala reds are going to be top colors to add to your fall 2015 wardrobe! On another note, fashion is becoming much more functional.  Pockets that used to be sewn shut are now open to make our lives much easier.  This functionality extends not just to pockets, but also to things such as the size of hoods on rain jackets and so on.  Some of our favorite designers are making changes so that merchandise can serve more than one purpose.  Lines that used to be extremely form fitting are even beginning to make pieces that have much more drape.  Fall silhouettes are going to consist of really clean lines to flowy pieces that gracefully hug our bodies.  With these fashion trends to look forward to it looks like you just can’t go wrong this fall season.  Which trends are y’all most excited about?

XOXO,
Joanna

Ps-If you’re ever in the Atlanta area, check out Polaris restaurant.  The menu is relatively small, but the food was delicious, and the overall experience was so fun with a revolving view of the stunning ATL skyline.
